Short-stay management is a newly emerging industry, where home owners rent out their unused property to people with short-term needs, such as tourists, exchange students and business travellers. With Australia easing the visa requirements for global travellers and a higher expectation on returns from investors, the market demand for short-stay management has grown significantly in the past years. Travellers enjoy a home away from home with these short-stay units, while investors also enjoy a higher net return. Short-stay management, however, is far more delicate than traditional property management, as the service would include receiving guests and ensuring the upkeep of the property on a much more frequent basis.
